The Kamwangi cooperative is consistently one of the highest quality producing wet mills in Kenya. Located in the Kirinyaga region, the volcanic soils of Mount Kona help smallholder farmers produce exceptional coffee. At the mill, the coffee cherries are depulped, then fermented for 24 hours. The coffee is then washed again, making the process 72 hours in total, after which the coffee is laid to dry on raised beds.
